PHP Development

Lately I've been trying to learn PHP...with some success. However, comparing what I've learned to the languages and things I have done in the past such as C++ development and database development, PHP and actually web development code looks so unstructured. Although there are some guidelines such as PEAR or something...things seems to be all over the place. Perhaps its just what I've been a customed to.

Xbox addiction

Since my buddies got me in to Halo on Xbox Live I seem to just cannot get enough of it. Not too long ago my wife asked what's so great about it and my friend responded "its the new alpha male proving ground". Oddly enough I wasn't surprised and to a large degree I would have to agree with him. It use to be that kids would fight, race, compete in different sports, but now its the technology age and in the technology age we all challenage each other in who's best at what. Similiar to the Star Trek virtual holodecks Halo 2 allows us to do just that. Play in a play ground where we can prove who's better, who's faster, and of course who's the domanant!

I just can't wait till we get that chance to step into a room where we can configure a virtual world where we don't just exercise our fingers but our entire body!
