HP Pavilion dv4000
HP Pavilion dv4000 review by PC Magazine
I must say I was very sceptical about all these reviews and how people praised the quality of this notebook. Having used many different makes and models I realized what we actually like and dislike all depends on one's needs but more importantly how the manufacture markets their own product.
With the need of being mobile but needing some horsepower behind that mobility, I had decided to purchase the HP Pavilion dv4000. I was debating for the longest time between and AMD or Intel, in the end weight won out and that narrowed my choices to a few. One other factor narrow my selection down to one...the dv4000.
After using it for about a week now I must say I'm very pleased with the performance and ergonomics of the notebook. With a keyboard feel similiar to my IBM-T42 and powerful enough to run most of my development tools it is a machine with good balance.
